Keys for Wealth Building from Neil Isaacs

During our Wealth Building Conference last week Neil Isaacs presented several important keys that I want to communicate here . . .

1. Understand the war in the spirit realm that is attached to the transference of wealth
2. Take hold of the biblical keys that break the power of poverty and lack
3. Tap into the anointing for wealth transfer
4. Position yourself to receive wealth
5. Become strong and do great exploits
6. No longer live in postponement . . . when you make that initial move in starting a business, or acquiring property, or talking to a banker or political leader, God will begin to move on your behalf
All of the mp3 recordings of Apostle Neil Isaacs are now available for purchase at www.greghowse.com.

Wealth Building Power

Deuteronomy 8:18                                                                                                                   And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

This tremendous declaration from the Lord is in the scriptural context of the people of God forgetting Who God is, and what He has done.  A pitfall of success is the human tendency to begin thinking we have accomplished something on our own, without the power of God.  And so, in this verse, Moses exhorts the people of God to REMEMBER the Lord.  Keep everything in proper perspective.  Keep magnifying the Most High God.  Keep Him and His Word in the forefront of your mind at all times.  And, literally, keep mentioning His name.

We remember the Lord because He is the one giving the POWER to get wealth.  In this instance, power is vigor, capacity, and ability.  We have life and energy; and life and energy are being sustained.  Our capacity to carry the glory of God is being enlarged.  We have ability that goes far beyond our own human ability.  When we don’t know how to do something in economic transactions, God will give us the knowledge and wisdom necessary.  In Isaiah 48:17 God tells us that He will teach us how to prosper.  This element of power is God’s supernatural ability and might freely given to us.

This God-given power is for the purpose of GETTING WEALTH.  This is a process, an accumulation of resource that is building over time.  When you study the Hebrew definition of wealth you discover terms like strength, might, efficiency, army, ability, and efficiency.  Biblical wealth consists of resources created by God.  Gold and silver, precious stones, flocks and herds, and land are considered to be wealth in scripture.  Notice there is a military aspect involved with getting wealth. There are enemies that will attempt to prevent or destroy our process of getting wealth.  Spiritual warfare becomes a necessary component by which we displace the adversary, and occupy the land.

God has given us this power to get wealth for a specific purpose.  His covenant must be established in the earth.  He wants His promise to man to be fulfilled and established.  His glory will fill the earth.  He has given the earth to the children of men.  We are the stewards of God’s creation on the earth.  Responsibility is involved.  We must have God’s power in order to fulfill our responsibility.  We use God’s power to get wealth in taking dominion.  As we take dominion, God’s covenant is established in the earth.  All people will see just how good God is.

Diligence in Wealth Building

DILIGENCE is the quality of moving through a situation, assignment, or project, all the way to the finish.  It is the ability to take responsibility, persevere, and finish what one has started.  Diligence is a necessary component of wealth building.  We see many people who are starting things; but there are far less who are actually finishing what they set out to accomplish.

Apostle Neil Isaacs has set a model of diligence in Queenstown, South Africa.  He set out to make a difference in his city.  He saw what the Lord was speaking to him.  He obeyed the Word of the Lord.  He made valuable connections with influential people in his community.  He made plans, and he executed those plans.  He pressed through problems and challenges.  He persevered.  Today there is a $50 million indoor shopping mall in full operation in Queenstown.  The mall is a focal point for commerce in that city.  Over 1,000 new jobs have been provided by this operation.  City of David Church is now the largest land owner in the city.  This is evidence of diligence.

In the opening chapters of Deuteronomy Moses took Israel on a historical review of how the Lord had dealt with them from the time of the Exodus, through 40 years of wilderness wandering, to the time where they were standing on the eastern border of the promised land.  Time after time Moses tells Israel to “cross over,” “go in,” and “possess” the land.  He tells them that the Lord will drive their enemies out of the land, and they will dispossess those enemies from the land.  Everything confronting Israel in this process was “greater and mightier” than them.  But, Israel had the Lord God Almighty, and His promise.

Deuteronomy 7:13 provides three major guarantees for His covenant people.  The Lord will LOVE YOU.  The Lord will BLESS YOU.  The Lord will MULTIPLY YOU.  These are the promises we walk in as we follow the Lord in our lives.

Deuteronomy 8 shifts Israel’s view to what shall be when they inherit the land.  Moses describes how they will move into the land, and how they will prosper.  They will cultivate the land, and it will produce for them.  They will care for their flocks and herds, and these resources will multiply.  They will see their gold and silver multiplied.  Their children and grandchildren will be blessed.  All of this would be a result of their due diligence.

The 2014 Wealth Building Conference begins this evening.  We will be gaining knowledge (the what) about the process of building wealth for the purpose of kingdom expansion in the earth.  Wisdom (the how) will come to us.  And, understanding (the why) will rise in our hearts.  However, in order to push all the way through to dominion, we must exercise this quality of diligence.

Breaking the Barriers to Wealth Building

Last night I had the privilege of hearing Apostle Neil Isaacs preach at Christian Faith Assembly in Flossmoor, IL.  This leader has some tremendous insight into the concept and structure of wealth building.  I am very expectant about what will be released in this week’s Wealth Building Conference.

In Habakkuk 2:1, Habakkuk says, “I will watch to SEE what He will SAY to me.”  The Lord is speaking, and we must be able to SEE what He is saying.  This type of seeing will empower us to break the limiting barriers the adversary has set for us.

Apostle Isaacs was sharing how we have made many gains in the realm of the Spirit.  We move with a strong apostolic and evangelistic anointing to clear a community of all wicked activity.  We establish peace.  The community becomes good land, prepared for good business development.  It is at that point that we, the Church, have dropped the ball.  At the opportune time we leave the community open for others (usually the ungodly) to begin businesses.  This is a barrier that has been imposed upon the Church by our enemy.  This barrier must be broken.

Joshua defeated Jericho; but he didn’t stop there.  He went on to take the land that the Lord had promised.

This is our time.  The opportunities are here among us.  We must refuse to be blocked and limited.  Let us continue to make spiritual gains.  But, let us also move on every opportunity to press all the way through to kingdom dominion.

Tangible Wealth Building

Deuteronomy 1:21                                                                                                                Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.

This was the word that Moses used to charge the children of Israel to gain tangible results in their possession of the land God had promised to them.  They were charged to LOOK in order to see what God had SET before them.  The command was to GO UP and POSSESS what was SET before them.  What was SET before them had been revealed by the Word of the Lord.  Israel was not going to be FEARFUL, and they were not going to get DISCOURAGED.  This was going to be their experience even though there were some natural reasons for them to be afraid, and even discouraged.  It was time for Israel to gain tangible results.

The issue of WEALTH BUILDING is something that God has been speaking to the Body of Christ for many years.  How many times have we heard about the “transference of wealth?”  Proverbs 13:22 has been declared over and over again.  “The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous.”  Multiple prophetic words have been declared over the years.  Intercessors have been praying over this issue of building wealth.  And yet, for the most part, we have very little tangible results.

A few days ago I had a faith-building conversation with Apostle Neil Isaacs of South Africa.  He is the main speaker for this week’s WEALTH BUILDING CONFERENCE.  I was greatly encouraged as this leader spoke of the need to gain tangible results in this area of wealth.  It is good for us to preach it, prophesy it, and confess it.  All of that kingdom action helps us LOOK and SEE what the Lord has promised.  However, we have been limited when it comes to GOING IN to POSSESS the promise of God.  These tangible results are what Apostle Isaacs calls CONVERSION.  We must CONVERT our prophetic actions into tangible results.  Lands, buildings, equipment, resources, businesses, investment opportunities, media involvement, and political influence are waiting for the people of God.  We overcome FEAR.  We refuse to be DISCOURAGED.   It is time for us to GO IN and POSSESS!

We will be receiving instruction, prophecy, revelation, impartation, and activation this week in the WEALTH BUILDING CONFERENCE at Cornerstone.  I encourage you to go to www.greghowse.com for free registration.  Thursday evening, Friday morning, Friday evening, and Saturday morning will be filled with life-changing sessions.  Our lives, our ministries, and our businesses will never be the same again.

Wealth Building

There is such gigantic need in the nations of the earth.  There are multiple millions of people on this planet that are living without sufficient food and water supplies.  And, there is a huge need for financial resource just to pay for the many kingdom assignments we are dealing with right now.  We must learn the secrets of building wealth in the Body of Christ.  We are the “city set on a hill.”  The world is to be attracted to the light that is shining from us.

This is why Cornerstone is hosting the Wealth Building Conference this week (March 13-15).  We need strategies and solutions.  I believe we are going to gain some of what we need during the sessions of this conference.

Apostle Neil Isaacs from Queenstown, South Africa will be our presenter for the Thursday and Friday sessions.  This man is an amazing leader and strategic thinker.  I was kn a long meeting with him this past Saturday.  He spoke of everything from the condition of the church, to economic conditions, to the push to develop alternative fuel sources in the United States.

This is what Apostle Isaacs posted on Facebook yesterday . . .

How do we CONVERT our gains in the Spirit into true WEALTH for our generation and beyond? We have revelation in the Kingdom, the Apostolic, the Prophetic and much more. How does all this translate into true ECONOMIC FREEDOM and PROSPERITY in our lifetime and beyond?

THE WEALTH BUILDING CONFERENCE will provide some answers . . . this coming THURSDAY, FRIDAY, & SATURDAY @ CORNERSTONE!!!  There is free registration at www.greghowse.com.

Attitude, by Dan Caldwell

Attitude is the one thing all human beings have complete control of and yet many unknowingly choose a negative attitude.  If we understood the power of our own attitude in our lives, most of us would change it immediately.  How many times have you been told to change your attitude?  That is a common order from most parents and teachers!

Attitude is created by your thoughts, feelings and actions.  Your mind controls feelings and decides whether these feelings will be positive or negative through your thoughts.  Your body then follows these thoughts through actions and behaviors.  It sounds simplistic because it is.

Through our thoughts, we create an attitude.  This attitude is expressed based on how we internalize ideas.  Our mind and body move into a new vibration of conscious awareness known as feelings.  These feelings are then displayed through actions and behaviors that produce the results in our lives.

Attitude [Thoughts + Feelings + Actions] = Results

Imagine feeding our minds with positive thoughts and flow through the process.  We will end with positive results.  Now imagine feeding our minds with negative thoughts and flow through the process.  Makes sense, doesn’t it?

By changing our thoughts, we can change our attitude, which will ultimately change our results.  Attitude is the creative cycle that allows us to feel a certain way and then take the necessary action to a specific result.

Start with the end in mind and make the decision that today is the day to change your attitude!

Disciples Are Called

Matthew 4:18-22 provides the account of Jesus calling two sets of brothers to follow Him as His disciples.  The scripture specifically says that Jesus SAW these men as they were participating in their fishing business.  Jesus was looking for them.  He saw them.  And, then He called them.

When these men were called by Jesus, they were already occupied with their respective fishing businesses.  Notice that Jesus was going after people who were already engaged in some type of enterprise.  These men were not sitting around waiting for something good to come to them.  Jesus recognized their work ethic.

The call from Jesus was, “Follow Me!”  This is the call to leave the pathway we have been traveling, and get on the path Jesus is taking.  One leader recently commented that discipleship consists of “leaving all” and “bringing all.”  These fishermen were willing to leave everything that was valuable to them in order to go with Jesus.  The scripture says that Peter and Andrew IMMEDIATELY left their nets and followed Jesus.  James and John were said to have left their boat and their father to follow Jesus; and they did it IMMEDIATELY.  These men show us a willing heart combined with an initiative and diligence to IMMEDIATELY respond to the call of Jesus.

When considering potential disciples, what type of people should we be looking for?

Are we trusting God to give us eyes to see?

How do we effectively release the call of the Lord?

What kind of response reveals a willing heart, filled with initiative and diligence?

Church Multiplication by Making Disciples

With so much of our attention being given to church planting in the Body of Christ, it is interesting to note that not once did Jesus, or the New Testament writers tell us to plant churches.  This is not to take anything away from church planting.  Church planting is one of the best ways to increase the influence of the kingdom of God in our communities.  We should be planting churches.  But, that is not the mandate.  Our mandate is to MAKE DISCIPLES.  If we are consistently making disciples, church planting will happen automatically.

In Luke 5:10 Jesus is presented as He called James and John from their fishing business. Jesus was releasing His mandate for “catching men.”  Luke ends his gospel writing with the same mandate in Luke 24:47.

In Matthew 4:18,19 Jesus is shown giving His call to Peter and Andrew.  It is the same mandate to be “fishers of men.”  And, Matthew ends his gospel writing with the same mandate in Matthew 28:18-20.

The process of making disciples leads our “recruits” through DELIVERANCE (salvation and healing); DEVELOPMENT (learning how to live life as a follower of Jesus, and being equipped for service); and DEPLOYMENT (being sent out to actually do the work of the ministry).

As we continue to make disciples in a given community, we will be effectively adding more and more people who will form the nucleus of a significant church plant.

Get out of the church box and into the community!

Stop running in religious circles, and begin to make disciples!

Do We Still Bring Flavor?

In Matthew 5 there is a great word that identifies what the Church really is in the earth.  In verse 13 Jesus said, “You are the SALT of the earth; but if the SALT loses its FLAVOR, how shall it be seasoned?  It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

According to Jesus, the Church (people in whom the Holy Spirit lives) is like SALT.  Salt has a preserving effect.  And, salt penetrates.  But, the way Jesus uses the term, SALT brings FLAVOR.  The Church (people in whom the Holy Spirit lives) acts like salt in this natural, physical life (earth).  We bring FLAVOR; or we make things better in this life.  We offer salvation, reconciliation, healing, restoration, and blessing.  We offer a new way of living; a way of life that enhances and lifts up, rather than pushing down and destroying.  In order to bring this kind of heavenly influence, we must get close to the object we desire to flavor.  We have to get out of the church box in order to get up close and personal with people who have not tasted of Jesus.  Salt cannot flavor a steak until it actually touches the steak.  We cannot bring flavor until we actually touch the people who need to “taste and see that the Lord is good.”  And, it doesn’t require a lot of salt to flavor our food.  It only takes a little bit.  In our case, it only takes a little bit of flavoring to change the taste in someone’s life.  It may require only one word, one prayer, one touch.

The church box is somewhat like a salt shaker.  While we are in the “shaker” we are being encouraged, edified, and equipped.  Then our loving God begins to shake us out of the salt shaker, and into the earth.  That is when we experience the anointing that flows in power.  That is when we experience the gifts of the Spirit moving through us to bless others.  That is when we actually bring FLAVOR to those who are in desperate need of God’s love.

According to Jesus, if we lose our FLAVOR, we really don’t have anything to offer human life on earth.  In fact, we will experience the systems of fallen humanity treading all over us, without respect or regard for the presence of Almighty God.

How can we enhance our flavor-providing capabilities?  If we find that we have possibly lost our flavor, how do we get such flavor restored?
